APPARATUS SERVICE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC
GREENFIELD, INDIANA
Our growing business is looking to add an Apparatus Service Technician to assist at our Mid-State Office in Greenfield, IN. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and repairing apparatus and have a strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving. Duties and responsibilities:

Conduct repairs and regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and apparatus.

Be able to understand (or find an answer) to customer concerns and identify the issue.

Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.

Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.

Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.

Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.

Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.

Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.

Perform apparatus assessments and alert clients on issues that will prohibit their apparatus from passing inspection.

​Stay current on existing and emerging product and technologies.

Attend training classes to acquire service certifications, as well as industry trade shows.

Report feedback from customers to service manager.

Maintain a professional / working image in self and work environment.

Develop an effective and productive working relationship with other service technicians, sales associates, customer service, and support personnel.

Complete proper documentation on a timely basis.

Maintain a clean work environment.

Perform other duties as instructed or required to successfully complete the job.
Qualifications & Skills:​​

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of apparatus diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.

Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

Valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record.
